The Batty Bats Quilt Pattern is a generous size throw quilt that can easily be upsized by adding more blocks. The instructions are provided for the three-color version seen in the cover example, but fat quarter cutting diagrams are provided if you really want to go scrappy. The blocks are traditionally pieced with two templates included for the bottom of the bat body. The templates are notched to make piecing easy. Instructions are fully illustrated, and each step has unit measurements so you can check your piecing accuracy as you go. The finished quilt size is 54.5 x 63.5 inches.
